If you are looking for ways to get more people to buy products through your website, then Amazon might be just what you need. It’s not hard to sell something on their platform as there are hundreds of thousands of items available at any given time which means that anyone can potentially make money from selling them.
It doesn't matter whether you're new to affiliate marketing or you've been doing this for years because when you sign up with Amazon you don't start off by sending out emails about the latest iPhone 7 release but rather you set yourself a goal and work towards achieving it. To help you along, we'll show you all the best methods to promote your own brand using Amazon's services.
Amazon has its own apps for both Android and iOS devices so if you want to take advantage of these features then you will also need to install either the Amazon App Store or the Apple App store respectively. These are both free to download. If you already know how to search for things in Google Play/App Store, then you should easily be able to figure out how to navigate around the Amazon app stores too.
As well as having the ability to create links within emails (which is useful), you can also include a link in an outgoing email. Simply click "Share" in the top right corner of the screen and choose Email & Attachments. You will now see options to select where to save the file and attach it to the email. Selecting the Link option will allow you to add an Amazon URL to your email. For example, you could open an email containing the following text and it would look something like this:
You can even customize the size of the image, change the colors, add images, etc. The only thing to bear in mind though is that whatever HTML code you put into the body will display in the preview window when you go to edit the email before hitting Send. However, once you hit Send, the text will replace everything inside the main body section of the email so ensure you aren't putting anything sensitive into there!
The same process applies to PDF files - simply drag and drop onto the page you wish to upload and follow the prompts. When you finish, you'll receive a URL to access the document later. This feature is particularly handy if you plan to distribute your documents online.
To remove a link from the email, simply click Remove Link. When you're happy with your changes, hit Save Changes and close the dialog box.
In order to send a link from Amazon to another person, you first need to visit the Contact Us page within your account settings. Once you reach this point, scroll down until you come across the Share Your Account button. Click this and enter the recipient’s name and email address.
Once you press Submit, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm the details provided. Please note that this information must match exactly in order for the request to succeed.
Next, head back to the original contact form and under the ‘Send Message’ heading, paste the link you received. Remember that you cannot copy and paste directly between browsers so you may need to switch over to Chrome. Alternatively, you could always click on the link and type the full URL into the browser bar instead.
When you’re ready to submit the message, click Send and wait patiently while your friend receives your gift.
There are two types of messages you can send using Amazon – Product Messages and Promotional Messages. Both contain instructions on how to format the content based on your chosen medium.
Product Messages consist of large images accompanied with relevant descriptions, prices and reviews. They are designed to be sent privately to friends and family who have shown interest in your business. There isn’t much difference between these and regular sales notifications apart from the fact that they appear above the fold in each inbox.
Promotional Messages are used in public forums such as Facebook groups. Here, you can offer special deals or discounts to attract customers to your site. As mentioned earlier, the formatting rules differ depending upon the intended audience and the medium being employed.
Both formats require you to log into your account first and then click on the Create New Post icon located next to the 'My Posts' tab. From here, you need to decide whether you want to post publicly or private. Private posts are visible only to those individuals who have agreed to accept invitations from you on social media platforms. Public posts are viewable by everyone and can be shared anywhere.
Whichever style you choose, please remember that every post requires approval before going live. In most cases, this shouldn't pose a problem unless you are posting promotional material. We advise against spamming however as this is likely to result in complaints from users.
Finally, click Publish and wait for your message to appear in the selected forum. Please keep in mind that some platforms restrict the number of characters allowed per post so you may need to shorten the description accordingly.
Just as you can embed links in emails and PDF files, you can also integrate them into webpages using the Amazon Mobile app. Open the app and tap on Settings followed by Sharing Tools. Scroll down until you find the Embed Link tool and select it.
Now, input the desired URL and tap Next. Finally, you’ll need to give permission to let the device read your contacts list. After you approve, you’ll receive a confirmation prompt. Tap OK and enjoy sharing your unique link.
Alternatively, you can simply send a direct message to your followers on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or wherever else you may have accounts. Just ensure that you provide enough space for the link to fit comfortably into the allotted area. Don't forget to check the privacy setting of your account beforehand as some websites limit the amount of characters that can be displayed.
To send a link from Amazon to WhatsApp, simply hold down on the text field on the phone screen and select Copy Link. Then, send the link to your WhatsApp chat group. All members of the group will automatically receive notification of the update.
Siri is capable of reading out URLs and linking them to specific locations. To initiate this action, hold down on your voice control button for three seconds and say "open [URL]". Note that you must speak clearly with no background noise present otherwise Siri won't recognize what you said.
For instance, you could ask Siri to play a song by saying "play Taylor Swift." If she responds by playing her music album, you probably haven't spoken correctly. Instead, try saying "play T-Swift."
Similarly, when you ask Siri to call somebody, you can specify the exact number you desire. Say "call John Smith," for example, and Siri will dial his cell phone.
What happens after Siri plays the song or calls the target? Well, she takes you straight to the specified location. Therefore, you can tell Siri to bring you somewhere without ever needing to leave the current conversation.

When sharing your Amazon links with friends, family members, colleagues, and acquaintances, there are some things that need to be considered before you click Send. Here's what we'll cover today...
If you're reading this post then you've probably heard of Amazon Prime Video. It's one of those services where you pay for all sorts of benefits such as free delivery, unlimited streaming and access to thousands more titles than Netflix. But did you know about the ability to get discounts through Amazon Prime Video too? Well, yes. You can save money by watching TV shows and movies through Amazon Prime instead of going out and buying them yourself - at least when you watch on a PC or Mac (or tablet/phone).
This means you could spend hundreds less per month on entertainment, which makes it even better value! The best part is, once you start using Amazon Prime Video, you don't have to stop because the price gets cheaper every year, so you never need to worry about it getting out-of-date. That said, if you want to take advantage of these savings, make sure you subscribe to Amazon Prime Video first!
You might also have seen our guide to finding the best VPN service to help protect you while browsing, but another thing worth mentioning is that Amazon Prime Video has its own built-in privacy feature called "Private Mode" which will prevent anyone who doesn't already have an account from seeing anything you’re viewing. So if you're worried about someone else snooping around your activity, Private Mode should keep everything secure.
But let's say you aren't interested in subscribing to Amazon Prime Video. Maybe you just love the convenience of having instant access to thousands of videos whenever you want, without paying a penny extra. In that case, read on for details on how to share a link to any video on Amazon directly from your browser or mobile device, whether you're logged into your personal account or not. And if you'd prefer to receive personalized recommendations based on what you enjoy most, check out our full guide to using Amazon Music.
The easiest option is to simply copy the URL of whatever you want to share. However, sometimes it may be easier to go straight to the page itself rather than copying out a long string of numbers and letters. If you're signed up to Amazon Prime, you won't need to type anything in. Just open up your web browser and search for something specific. For example, searching for 'Game Of Thrones' will bring up the show itself, along with trailers, reviews, cast bios, etc.
Click the title above the video you want to watch, then right-click anywhere and select Copy Page URL. Now paste that into wherever you were trying to share the link previously.
Alternatively, if you're looking for a specific video, visit the home page for the series you wish to view. There will usually be an icon next to each episode that looks similar to this image below (it depends on the platform):
Once you locate the relevant episode, press Ctrl + Shift + C or Command + Option + C to copy the URL. Then switch back to your preferred method of sharing and paste it in.
There really isn't much difference between creating a direct Amazon link and sharing an existing one. To begin, head over to the Amazon website and log in using your credentials. Next, navigate to whichever item you want to share and click View All Reviews & Ratings to expand it. Click the three dots under More Info and choose Edit Rating Information. Finally, scroll down until you reach the Ratings Summary section and copy the entire contents of the box.
Now return to your chosen method of sharing and paste the information copied earlier. Alternatively, you can write the address manually, although you shouldn't need to do this if you used the previous step. Whatever you decide to do, ensure the URL is formatted correctly. For instance, the following format is incorrect: www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B00FZQ2YT6/. Correctly formatted URLs look like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B00FZQ2YT6/
Many people prefer sending their Amazon links via SMS messages, especially since it allows you to customize exactly what recipients will receive. While Amazon does offer a number of apps available across various platforms, you can only send links within individual devices. To learn more about how to set up Amazon Links in WhatsApp, here's our full guide.
To add a link to the Amazon app, follow these steps:
Open the app and tap Add Product. Choose the product(s) you want to add to your shopping list and hit Continue. Tap Create New List and name it. Once done, tap Done Shopping.
Next, tap Text Message. Enter the recipient's phone number then confirm your selection by tapping Continue. Select the link you want to send, then tap OK. Your friend will now receive an automatic notification containing the link.
It's possible to send an Amazon link to others on iOS 9 and later, Android 4.4 KitKat and higher, Windows Phone 8.1 and later, macOS 10.11 El Capitan and later, and Chrome OS 72 and higher. Simply enter the URL in the appropriate field on the respective operating system and click Submit. Note that you must be signed in to your Amazon account.
If you want to send the same link to multiple users, you can easily do so by selecting the text version option. When finished, tap Save Email Address and fill out the details. After hitting Confirm, the email addresses you selected will automatically receive the link.
However, bear in mind that if you send the link via email, it will expire after 24 hours unless you sign in again. Also, it's important to note that while you can send links via other messaging platforms including Facebook Messenger, Twitter DMs, Google Hangouts, Snapchat, Skype, and Viber, you cannot send links through Apple Messages or iMessage.
For those who still haven't subscribed to Amazon Prime yet, why wait? Sign up for a 30 day trial and you'll get two months of free shipping plus access to millions of Kindle books and magazines as well as tens of thousands of music tracks and movies -- all completely ad-free thanks to Amazon Prime. Plus, you can cancel anytime during the trial period with no penalty fees attached.
So you've found some great deals at Amazon, but now what?! It's time for some of us to get creative with our online shopping habits (or maybe we just want to be more eco-friendly). The problem is that there are so many options when choosing which products to buy - even though most of them will end up being cheaper than your local supermarket!
There are also loads of ways to make money by selling things on Amazon. If you're not sure where to start, this guide should help you out. We'll show you all the best places to sell stuff on Amazon, whether that's through FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon), Shopify, eBay, Etsy or any number of other platforms. And don't forget about buying things from Amazon itself too – we'll explain everything you need to know right down to how to sign up as well.
But before we can dive into those topics, let's look at another option for earning extra cash on Amazon... sharing links with friends. Here we'll teach you how to share your Amazon account information with others quickly and easily. You could potentially earn a few bucks if you do enough of these shares, especially if you're trying to promote something specific.
If you already have an Amazon business set up, then why not take advantage of Amazon's own affiliate program? There are lots of benefits, including free product samples and access to exclusive offers only available to affiliates. But first off, let's talk about sending someone else the link to your Amazon page.
When you add items to your cart on Amazon, you'll usually receive a "Buy Now" button. When clicked, this will redirect you to the relevant item details page within the Amazon website. However, sometimes you may accidentally click the wrong thing instead, meaning you land on a generic landing page. Don't worry though, you can still retrieve the original link using the same method.
Here's how to go about doing it…
Open your browser window again and log back onto your Amazon account. Click “Your Account” under the top menu bar, followed by “Shopping Cart”. At the bottom of the screen you'll see a tab called “My Shopping Cart” - click on this.
You might notice that the title reads “View Your Personal Orders” - that's because you haven't actually added anything yet. To change this, simply select the item(s) you wish to purchase, then click the blue “Add Item” button. Once done, hit the “Continue Checkout” button.
On the next screen, scroll down until you reach the section titled “Shipping Address Information”. Then enter the recipient name and address exactly how you'd normally type it out into a letter/email. Finally, choose which shipping service you prefer, along with how much you pay for each individual package. Hit Continue once done.
Once complete, navigate back to the main My Shopping Cart page. On the left hand side, you'll see a list of all the orders you currently have stored in your account. Simply highlight the order you want to share the link to, then press Ctrl+C (Command + C on Mac) to copy it. Next, open up a new document in Word or Notepad, then paste the link into the body area.
Now you can either save the file somewhere easy to find later or print out a hard copy. Either way, you'll be able to give the link away to anyone you wish without having to remember complex instructions. Just make sure you keep the original PDF printout handy in case they ever ask you for further information.
In addition to copying and pasting the link yourself, you can also search for your Amazon URL directly. First, head over to the Amazon homepage and locate the little box labeled “Search Products & Services” in the upper right corner of the screen. A dropdown menu appears underneath, allowing you to filter results based on price, category, etc. Alternatively, you can always try typing in keywords relating to whatever you're looking for, e.g. “Amazon Echo Dot review”.
The result will display all matching titles across various categories. Scroll down until you find the relevant entry, then hover over the blue link icon. As soon as you move the cursor over the link, a tooltip will appear offering additional information such as reviews and customer ratings. Click on this to view the full listing.
Alternatively, you can perform a similar search on Google. Instead of searching for keywords, however, you'll need to input the exact URL of your Amazon store front. For example, say you wanted to find the URL for the Kindle Fire HDX 7 tablet, you'd enter: https://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Fire-HDX-7-16GB/dp/B01M5QP6WK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1539170590&sr=8-2&keywords=kindle fire hdx 7 16gb

Using Amazon URLs isn't the only way to share your shopping experience with people. In fact, there are plenty of reasons why you might want to send someone the link to your Amazon account. Perhaps you're promoting an eBook or digital course online, perhaps you want to direct traffic towards a particular product, or maybe you just think it looks cool. Whatever the reason, you can create a custom URL that includes your chosen keyword.
That said, there are several methods you can employ depending on the platform you're working with. Most notably, you'll definitely need to include the proper URL structure when creating links on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Kik and Slack.
For instance, if you were to post the following link on Reddit, it would automatically load up the correct subreddit: /r/books/comments/58492838/. Note that the last part varies slightly between platforms, i.e., books comments 58492838 on Facebook will load up posts related to Books whereas on Reddit it would load up Posts.
Unfortunately, the above examples aren't quite suitable for every situation. For instance, you won't be able to send someone a link containing hashtags on Twitter unless you specifically enable them beforehand. Similarly, you can't really embed code snippets on Slack, nor can you generate QR codes on Telegram Messenger.
However, if you want to avoid dealing with complicated URL structures, you can always opt for plain old HTML links. These work perfectly fine on all major social networks, plus you can insert pretty much any kind of information inside them. So long as you format your code properly, you shouldn't run into any problems.
Just follow these steps below, assuming you have a basic understanding of HTML:
Copy and paste the entire URL into MS Word. Make sure to replace spaces with hyphens whenever applicable.
Replace all instances of the word “http://” with “https://”, along with adding quotes around the domain and pathname.
Make sure the font color matches the background color of the webpage.
Hit Enter after each line of code to separate each element.
Click Save as Web Page whenever prompted.
Finally, upload the resulting.html file to whichever site you intend to publish it on.
Hopefully, this should help you find the perfect solution for your needs. Let us know how you got on in the comment section below.
Just follow our battle-tested guidelines and rake in the profits.
