The most valuable asset your business has are your customers. By giving your customers a unique opportunity to choose from multiple payment methods, you will ensure that you don’t lose any potential users due to purchasing inabilities.
Millions of people all over the world trust PayPal with all of their online payments. If you don’t include a PayPal integration in your funnel, you will face negative feedback—something you want to avoid at all costs. There are over 300 million active PayPal accounts, so why wouldn’t you introduce the payment gateway to your platform?
The majority of PayPal users rely on this payment method because of its low fees—it charges only 2,9% with an additional 30 cents in fees for merchant transactions. There are no setup fees, which is another remarkable advantage of the platform.
Remember that customer satisfaction should always be your number one priority. If your platform’s users prefer PayPal, integrate it immediately.
If you want to give your customers the option to make purchases through PayPal, but don’t know how to add a PayPal button to your ClickFunnels page, you can do it in two ways:

If you’re trying to test an order form, and your funnel tells you that it’s missing a purchase, you can solve this problem in five different ways by:
Checking your product settings
Adding your product
Removing any custom code
Going through all the elements on your page
Reviewing the payment gateway
In case you have a product in place, it would be a good idea to go through your Product Settings and double-check if everything is where it’s supposed to be.
Click on ‘Edit’ and check whether the ‘Order Bump’ option was left unchecked—it is supposed to stay that way. If it’s unchecked, review the rest of the fields, especially the ‘Product Type’ one. In case the product type is a subscription, you’ll have to go to the payment gateway and see if it shows up properly.
Before you’re allowed to utilize the payment gateway, you need to add a product to your Order Form page. In case you haven’t added a product, this might be the reason why the issue appeared in the first place.
If you add a product to the page, or if you have it there already, but still see that you’re missing a purchase, try to find another solution.
If none of the abovementioned solutions work, check for custom code on your page. It is generally recommended that you remove all custom codes from the page when trying to perform a test.
As soon as you remove any custom JavaScript or HTML code, try to proceed with the order test again. If it still doesn’t work properly, then this wasn’t a problem to begin with.
If none of the previous solutions worked, you should investigate all the elements on your page by going for the ‘Edit Page’ option. You should see four different elements listed there:
Select Product 2.0
Button set to ‘Submit Order’
Credit Card Form
These four are crucial, and you need to have them. In case any of them are missing, add them. Having some other elements on the page isn’t an issue—you don’t have to remove them.
If none of the elements are missing, make sure that the product selection is at ‘Select Product 2.0’ because it’s possible that you have an outdated element selected instead.
If the product selection is correct, try to remove the Credit Card Form and re-add it. Test the form again in an incognito window to ensure that everything is working the way it’s supposed to.
Log in to your Payment Gateway and check whether everything is working properly if none of the aforementioned solutions resolve the issue.
In case none of the solutions work, you should contact the ClickFunnels Helpdesk.
If you’re looking to set up a third-party PayPal product, you should know that it comes with certain limitations and restrictions, among which you can find the following:

Choose a proper button type. |
|
Set up a fulfillment email properly. |
|
Keep in mind that Order Confirmation pages don’t work with PayPal. |
|
Test your PayPal integration the right way. |
|
By following the instructions on certain PayPal limitations and restrictions, you shouldn’t come across any issue. If you don’t pay attention to them, though, your PayPal integration won’t work properly, so make sure that you don’t neglect any of the listed pieces of information.
